Oct 2018 update: Global warming can still be held to 1.5°C relative to preindustrial levels, but only if countries take "unprecedented" steps to rein in greenhouse gas emissions and change how we live,

according to a landmark science report released Sunday night by the UN Intergovernmental Panel on Climate Change.

Ideas stimulated by moon race - 50 years ago ER journalists and youth started debating how worldwide systems would spin round two all or nothing changes :

  • 4000 times moore connected tech
  • going green (our childrens' children children ..thrive) instead of staying carbon-blacked out (extinction of our species by staying stuck in carbon value chain- top down silos, big get bigger administration constituted by colonial empites ; industrial age carbon-warriors; media designed around making costs and compound risks the opposite of the transparency adma smith sought to market)

Both of these changes double loop -ie they exponentially impact each other as well as holon-map (which means you can always look at any map more micro or more macro as you would when you zoom in or our in browsing-)-

- in other words unless you are satisfied with fake media you cannot say you love being a tech entrepreneur with saying you love knowing green entrepreneurs (people who explain that well include jack ma bezoz musk nilekani - you tell us) -and you certainly can;t be a sustainability goals entrepreneur without loving transparency of connections not silos

Open Source Blockchains in energy and edutech- blockchains are many things as good or as bad as web iteslf- we are specially interested in valuing sme contributions to intergenerational collaborations of which clean energising every community needs urgent open sourcing not closed patenting take cases in microsolar- many who innovated most have not been recognised financially or as educators- societies are the biggest loser when a few take all the money or all the teaching credits and those who are trying to help youth openly innovate are sidelined- sometimes people even find their own inventions turned against them for trying to value open source- sustainability blockchains (needed across many shades of green) will be designed to throw the greed out of markets and value those who share life-shaping innovations to maxiimise the human lot;

Special thanks to friends at Tsinghua for helping is see : over 80$ of livelihoods of sustainability generation are more collaborative than competitive, (ie for replicating microfranchsises across communities and sand frontieres) blockchains will be needed to change livelihood education too and replace fake or expensive media - who will be the worldrecordjobs creators of blockchain? More than half of the innovations for sustainability will be new (or digitally different) in the next 5 years- imagine a mooc where youth create the case contents as they emerge. Will such an on-demand mooc best be distributed by a sort of blockchain platform- and why wouldn't ever millennial have a lifelong certification that is freely blockchained instead of expensive credentialised by a few costly universities

G50.0 local to global double loop exponential change 4000 moore mobile connectivity TECH (this will have happened by 2030), similar 4000? fold changeover to green (we are not are on this orbit) in fact western institutions are further away from orbiting youth-friendly green market purposes locally and globally when obama posted this video in 2009

wacky idea 1 - no reason why worlds top million sdg stedents should get 5 year sdg certification at free universities

ways to do this mix idea of tsinnghua's serve china with club meds world heritage unis and ecotourism

tsinghua is beijing , china and the world's destination university for fture of sustiable public servants- its best graduate compete to serve chain for a year by going with other best graduates to live in remote chinese villages for a year and specify missing mobile apps- after a year they help supercities who are alteady launching 5 milion startups a yera but now tyhe serve china alumni network is even more valuable toi have graduated from than tsinghua itself- something that surprised the chinese itself because prevuously tsinghua was relaunched in 1980s with xi jinpings year being the first new tsinghua alumni network

for those who dont know club med start quite soon after world war 2 - some french groups went to set up becahcmaps in med former french colonies- the idea emerged why dont some of us stay on and host next years camp and bring local people in to train "the guests' in local beach activities and ecological touring- so why wouldnt the world take eg 50 underdeveloped world heritage sites- invite stidnts to start club medding there - over time the site become both th eceological tourists plus the place where green case stidies of diversity start to be open sourced for analagous replication- the students are innovating the smn=ba curricula so why should they have to paay to be certified in what they have actiually innovated- the costs for building these universities can be kept to lowest ever - after all this is the opposute of bricks and mortar unis and can be mainly tech wizrads kids meet super green anthropoligists, and scientists

in some cases world heritage sights may turn out to be in more expensive places- this is ok- take the ches[papeake bay - designate underused coleges in the statyes that host the bay as the combined loding faacilities while encouraging ecologiucal campng near the test hubs- keep congressmen and burecurcats compeketely out of the adminsitration of chesapeake bay university ujnless thyey wa nt to make incognito triap without any fake media present - in the unlikely event that bezos seeks to use hq2 as way of reforming the dmv - send disciolies of john mackey out to clean up all the bay recipes and sources of seafood and locally sustainable veggies; start to show how a foods market can be seasonal and local - linkwd to new culinary universities of slow foood - the sort that jamie oliver had a really hard tome bring into the la public school systems- maximeise all the oooprtunities from 12 up to co-create outside the calssroom livelihhodds- expect  one thing - all of the bay will 5g and intrisively monitored with mobile videos- we aiming to make this teh safest place for girls, the greeest space for natture, and the most sustainable places for communities built round celebrating pioneering work -all for one and one for all - not for extraction, or zoining whom owns what. Outside the beltway the bay needs to be the opisye=te from imside the belt way- you use moocs to showing lioving cases of what scales up and what fails- there is no spce for lobbies in this mass collaboration. That would be an united space for american peopels worthy of signifying as amazonian

we dont know of a market (starting with those that are claimed to trunover a gtrillion dolarfs or more in a global economy currently estimated at about 80 trillioin dolars of monetary transcation - nb that is the minority of all gtrades when you audit the whole of family life since one defintion of thriving grassroots communiteis is how much people swap) where its not relevenant to ask  about clkaruyuing opposite of audiiting greenest purpose versus blackest which market could be compounding

Norman Macrae Foundation (1 2) gave away 10000 dvds to students- if you see a yunus collaboration entrepreneur story that you need to be in the collaborative middle of email chris.macrae@yahoo.co.uk with video number and brief personal background of why this matters most to you and your peer action networksGOOD NEWS 1-25

GREEN VERSUS BLACK PURPOSE: this goes for education itself- the more education system discisnnecetd empires in siloe, referenced hierarches of past experts, got stuck as einstein put it within its own macro conventions- you cant be a mba professoinal and say you value green- ultimately any organisation or partnership networks needs to be doubly audited by green and profit extraction metrics which involve whollt different analyses- when the resu;lts are in for an auditt periond. true sustainability investirs would never overriule green by red; the mba professional who takes profit no matter what is like a driver who passes thrpugh red traffic lights crashing through the green professional value goodwill of being transparent about the expoential risk spiralling between all stakeholders- mathematically any organisation audented around one stakeholdre always takes first every quarrter is mba- where do people start trying to mooc the go green case studies- one example india's kalam around 2000 - he propsed youth and teachers tear up any non-sustainable curriculum by 2020 -this hasnt happened by his tech friend nielkani has developed billion person digotal identity- this big data small meta platfrom coullbe be used to go 2020 the way kalam intended -see timelines

in 2005 iin [paris the business shcool hec, leading bcorp companies like danone, womens networks and dr yunus proposed moocing an smba- it never really hapened as german advisers to yunus become more promient than french  -see place clusters

wacky idea 2

just because america was the freest a contient-wode nation clould get in 19th century means failure to change all its consitutions is spiralling the oppoiste - at leats for extrovery teenage women - america rated near bootom of societies which 1 claim democracy 2 that are overal wealthy

 Today’s highlights

How American Patriarchy Succeeded at Institutionalizing Women’s Powerlessness In Ways Europeans Overcame

corelated are the following "lttle sister nation" visions:

love each others cultures/arts, value trade at borders, celebrate youth who create peace exchnages

love grren

celebrate sharing infrastructure

G50.2 big brother irreversible timeline versus liitle siste- its incob=nveneinet but wholly tru that we should make this 2030- having united all 195 nations to communicate 2030 to let slippage happen again amd say maybr 2035 is OK is not accepetable because then we will keep slipping as we already have- we have overshot every green related expoenetial we first started negotiating in 1968 as the immiment success of the moonrace showed what juts 8 times more connectivity of machines and human inteligence could do- thise who value expoential talking of tippig points- thise are times that past which permitting system conflicts to multiply (oinstead oftiurniong to end them) either colapses sustem irrevopcably or in a way that will cost far more to recover later -tick tock we have eneytreed the last 12 studemt uera cycles, the last 12 un yera cycles , the last 12 cycles of any place cliuster that meets annuale, the last 12 banking investment cycles (eg world bank) to 2030 -see fake versus real media G50.4

there are g195 nations at last count- the truth is the g7 (8) developed most from black energy, they have the least urgency ti chnage everything even if morally they should have the most urgency- we ould argue that canad is the most mora and the usa and germany (its impact on whole eu ) are elast moral on actual finacial grounds- whats more imporatnt is to do 2 things:

study where xclusetrs of nations have come together in nonconvenetional ways- although the brics is one such cluster dreamed up round 5 nations that apeared to benchmarks of grwoing fastest they actually indlude laggards such as brazil and southafrica as well as really curious nations riussia the largesy in land, china the laregst in human population's hope and idndia te sceond largest in population and as we saw from kalam back in 2020 as ready to dream green as china now is

the sco - china looks at all its neighbours as well as mapping where its own poorest are- they are furtherst from the coast and usually bordering neigbors who are either pooor or as yet conclicted with global conventiins9 Whether thise conventions are practical for those people are not); the g7 has never included china because it was fixed in terms of power when it was formed not as the world has eveolved; and it kicked out the old g8 member russioa- so logically china's most critical member to brainstorm with other neighbors is riussi- hence sco now connects china, russia, cengtral eurasia neighbors of china, pakistan and idia - an extrordinary neighbor group - the good news for the wporld is if this groups actions any green colabirations

another intersting groupo we call @BR11 or arctic circle- currently formslly included in its meetups are the 8 natuions that border the arctic circle - this incliudes rissia america canada, some huge underpoulated spaces like greenland iceland (the only nation woith over 100% green enrgy, parts of nordia)- note here is a group where america and rissia still meet ; note also experst argue that if the arctuc circle doesnt go green in time mother earth will go into metldown- to survive the arctic circe is a necessary leader of go green but not sufficient- note the plus one terminolgy- typically this is where chian says it would be most interested to join a cluter becasue its half a billion under 30s would love to share opportunities to connect knowhow woth this cluster- there is no reason whay any nation with huge talants shouldnt come up with a parallel brand name meaning ist eager to mutiply its youths visiosn with other cluster

we have proposed 13 regional cluserts all of which could make unique contributions around mothe eraths coastal belts and contiental roads- but equally we love to hear of any other cluseter where its leaders urgently come and stay together- note in some way deomcraicues whose leaders chnage freqyently are at a disadvantage unless they can nomknate another tuype of leader - we propose a superg2 of thsoe who speak chiense led by Presient Xi and thsie who speak English led bty prince charles- however you can create many exciting culture groups include the superg7 by 7 most poular langiages whose pluses should include coding as the 8th common lanagiage and every other mother tongue as a th constituency

G50.4 fake versus real media of green - it make sense to believe that media owned by the epopel but least centiored by politicains might want to unfake green news- prince chales can for example tell you which oceans natiures cultrlture and national geklgraghical braidacsters can help start a group of freedom for gree joyrnalists

g60.5 by energy type

battery

solar

microsola

biogas

wind

wave and hydraulic

advanced photosynthesis

=these afre some of the leading green energies to search or innovation afreas that need to go green (eg battery)

gg0.6 transport both of goods traded and of peoples

shippiin

rail

are the greenest masst trasnportaions that can save us in toimes

planes and cars are the ones that most need reduced- gpig in the right direction are electric cars but this still doesnt scale- and remember each typoe of trasport also requures maintenance- maining rioads is not likely tio advance green in time- maitiaing suoerrailes is

see also how do suoercities share transpaort and other configirations of where peope need to be

g50.7 there are different ways to cluster or rank league tables of syupoercities (eg unhanbitat's new leader the former mayonr of peneang is lookinh=g particularly at how pere-adoelecsnt gorls wold value safety as well as greenees of cities)- eg which cities were first to say they wanted to be redesigned around valuing people more than valuing cars- this introduced new zone designation system - eg for bicycles as well as tech innocvatiosn as saling shared bicycled

one of the great idea chain has had is to use everyu coty as a lab - there are at any one tinme 100 innovation suoercity projects going oin inchina isntructed to faile fast or keep on mapping what is needed to succeed- critically success means open soyrcing your lab to other cities as soon as it looks as if you are on to a green or mobiule liuvelihoods winner - see g50.8 comunity for all tech hubs;  and g50.9 why 21st c architectire and new true media go hand in hand eg at mit media lab or across china's number 1 american diapora for unittinh west and east network committee 100 founded by an archotect and a musician  -we keep g10 for specically how do you green a buiklding from intial costruction to renewal-

see G50.11 arts for all

thwew are other directly linked ideas such as g50.12 waste and 50.15 shall we design a city where public safety comes digitally number 1 in every public space- for example korae and china are leaders in building new city suburbs- designed aroun half a million people newly living in the sapce- the etch is intrusive unelss you calue mximising safety- the same tech enables all citizens to be like a metahiub - a weosrk of half a million so to speak- see 50.14 cuties designing youth livelihood around beyond the classroom 24/7

G50.15 mapping back g5 (oops g is sued for expeoentao, scale that ,obil infarsgtructiure has reached as well as place cluseters and in our case 50 shades of green) and other ai machine intelligence leading green and other imnovation startusp before 2025 is apart from 2030 itself the most useful way techolgists ghave to impose human deadlines on tjem slelves

more coming by marekt subsectir eg how green is your fold and agriculture and water and chemicals and which goals accomplishment or destruction do these markets link ointo seas sufficating in plasticno more edible seafood- posioned with arsenic  one smal nuclear disturbance could kill billion people- we're that fragile nobel ira hefland temeprature chianges - climate volatility -insurace volatility may look good to city- awful for rest of us

water angels and devils

back in the early 2000s the european union encouraged citiznes to share knowhiow on something called knowledgeboard- i volunteered to moderate discussions on network topics where monet was not to be quickly made as much as trust (educational value) to multiply- we each took a green topic we didnt know much about like old fashioned journalist - and searched and searched for good news to share - my theme was water angels- we started to map 100 diferent reasons why water can be a problem from too much to too little to too contaminated to so difficult to distribute safely to last mile to one enemy nation being able to control a lot of another natin's flows

changee.JPG

but then for some reason that was never explained- we had got the most active sharing network across the whole community board so we were closed down because some of the academics that the eu paid said we were too much of a questioning search - drowning out the audiences they wanted for publishing specialist papers- so at least in my book the eu went from being a green angel to a green devil - i still have some of the most tristed contacts in the world of water but no longer know how to share them virally with youth- i must have given 9 months of probono time to the eu and encouraged 50 years of time among my frends- that cost me a lot as it was hard to explain to linkedin peers that all our work was wiped off the board- i have come to realise that the world my father and i have valued since 1984 of everyine will need to be a lifelong tgeacher as well a lifelong student offends those who currently make the most out of ediucation in the west as well as some quite scary vetsed interests- i sincerely hope the people i admire most in the East never capture this disease in their languages and cultures - for all our sustainability hopes go now wieth their friendships with youth who want to work hard and make a fair living without borders

First Consider productivity inputs to a free  market's exchange of productivities and demands

*P1: Grameen and BRAC are designed round investing in peoples productive and lifelong learning curves

*P2: They  multiply  value of group productivity such as Grameen ‘s teams of 5, or hubs of 60

*P3 They are empowered by intrapreneurial leaders whose behaviours mimic the writings of The Economist’s Unacknowledged Giant in every way that knowledge networking leaders need to be different from the age of bossy masters of administration

*P4: Society’s resources are also maximized because that’s in the intergenerational culture of these organisations’ race to end poverty as specified by village mothers

Next consider the multi-win design of the demand outputs

Workers or employers are energised by seeing real miracles on the ground happening

Customers are determining what better is in each of these community markets where all the actors can see each other

Perhaps the magic trick of the system design is that while positive cashflow is insisted on its all being invested back in the community because the owners are those in greatest need in the case of grameen and the ownership is in trust of ending poverty are the village level in BRAC

The demands of nature and other sustainability criteria are fully accounted for because when you are in are at the bottom (the rural village) you have no one else to externalize on and you can only make intergenerational progress if you are as smart as nature at boundaryless openness
